Our office is conveniently located in the heart of Parramatta, which is ideal to serve Parramatta and the surrounding suburbs of western Sydney*.
*Suburbs include Baulkham Hills, Camellia, Carlingford, Clyde, Constitution Hill, Dundas, Dundas Valley, Eastwood, Epping, Ermington, Granville, Guildford East, Harris Park, Kingsdene, Merrylands, North Parramatta, Northmead, Oatlands, Old Toongabbie, Parramatta, Pendle Hill, Rosehill, Rydalmere, Sefton, South Granville, Telopea, Toongabbie, Winston Hills, Wentworthville, and Westmead.
Our office is close to public transport – including train, public bus, and ferry. If you travel by car, our office is also close walking distance to Westfield (3 hours free parking), there is also street parking and off-street parking readily available around Parramatta CBD – be aware that parking officers in Parramatta are known to be extremely vigilant.
Unfortunately, no. Our office complex has limited parking, most of which are allocated to and are generally being used by other offices. If you have mobility issues, our office has street level access that allows you to be dropped at the front door for your convenience, however, there may be issues for you to leave your vehicle unattended even for a short period of time.
If you are travelling to our office by car, you may be able to find street parking otherwise there are various options for off-street parking such as car parking stations or (a favourite with many of our clients) parking at Westfield which has 3 hours free parking and is only a short 5-10 minute walk from our office.
Our office is on the ground floor and is easily accessible for anyone with mobility issues and is ‘wheelchair-friendly’. Parking is also available in our office complex. If you are concerned with gaining access to our office, please call our office on 02 9687 8885.
If you do not make an appointment, we are unable to guarantee that our notary public will be able available to see you at the time you choose to attend our office.
We generally allow for enough time between notary public appointments to ensure that you do not need to wait to be seen and we can notarise your documents at the time of your appointment or as soon as possible afterwards. Please note that if you require a notary certificate, you may need to allow up to 3 hours for processing.
Unfortunately, we are no longer open on the weekends. We also do not open on public holidays.
Our normal office hours are between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We are able to take appointments after hours on some evenings – however these appointments often are booked many weeks in advance (so be early).
If you must make an appointment on the weekends or after hours we may charge a further fee for ‘appointments outside of normal office hours’ in addition to our normal notary fee.
Yes. ‘Office visits’ or ‘home visits’ are rare because our charge for travel often exceeds our charge for notary public services. If you would like us to visit you outside of our office to notarise your documents, please call us for a quote inclusive of travel.
Generally, the charge for travelling will be calculated on an hourly rate with a minimum charge of an hour.
To take advantage of our highly competitive notary fees, we recommend making an appointment to attend our office rather than requiring our notary public make ‘office visits’ or ‘home visits’.
Depends. You will need to present yourself in person – whether at our office or at a prior agreed venue, if we need to witness your signature or verify your identity in some way. Check with whoever has asked you to obtain notary public services to clarify their requirements with regards to personal identification.
For example, we may not need to see you if you only need us to certify copies of original documents. In that case, we generally only need to see the original documents (not the person).
If we need to witness your signature or verify your identity, then you must be able to prove your identity to us by producing some form of photographic identification (ie, drivers licence issued in Australia, or a passport). All photographic identification must be current and valid, and must reflect your name or any other identifying number referred to in the document that you need to have notarised.
You need to show at least one form of photographic identification (ie, valid Australian drivers license, or valid passport). If the documents to be notarised refer to any specific identification document, you must bring that identification.
Your name and identification information appearing in your identification document must be consistent with your name and identification information appearing in the documents that you require to be notarised.
We keep copies of your identification and notarised documents so that we can verify who you are and what we have notarised for you if called upon to do so in the future. Otherwise your informtation and your documents are retained under strict client confidentiality and will not be released or disclosed without your prior consent. All documents will be destroyed after 7 years.
