We keep copies of your identification and notarised documents so that we can verify who you are and what we have notarised for you if called upon to do so in the future.
As a notary public, we may receive requests to verify documents that we have notarised for you and so we also maintain our records to compare with any documents we might receive from third parties for verification purposes. In those instances, we do NOT provide third parties with your documents, we can only verify what they provide to us against our records.
Otherwise, your information and your documents are retained under strict client confidentiality and will not be released or disclosed without your prior consent (unless we are compelled by law). All documents will be destroyed after 7 years.
