Australian Notary Public for International Clients

If you’re currently in another country (ie, outside of Australia) and you need to use documents that have been issued in Australia (ie, government documents or personal certificates, education records and qualifications, or work and employment documents), it’s likely that those documents must be notarised by a notary public in Australia before they’ll be accepted in that other country.

In addition to notarisation and depending on the intended destination country, those notarised documents may also need to be stamped with an apostille or authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and legalised by the foreign representative office, consulate or embassy of the intended destination country.
