STEP 3.  Notary Work

Do you need us to witness or certify your documents?

CERTIFYING

We are only able to certify Australian documents or locally accepted foreign documents (ie, foreign passport). We cannot certify copies of any other documents from other countries. We will only certify documents issued by non-government organisations after we have verified the documents with the issuing organisation. You must provide us with original documents.

WITNESSING

'Witnessing' requires the person to personally sign in front of the notary. At the time of signing, they must prove their identity with photographic identification documents such as a passport or an Australian driver's licence. Our office does not provide 'additional witnesses' and the notary does not require those witnesses to be present unless it is a requirement of the document or the destination country.
